Comparison of known elements beloved?s features in ghazals of Sheikh ul-Islam Yahya and Nef?i?s collected poems

17th Century is considered century that The Ottoman Empire began pause and decline. Literature which is not independent from social and political events shared the same decline. Our literary began to lose both richness of content and power of arts. In this study, dear element which is the most important element of the trio of love-lover-beloved is discussed, and differences between different poets? viewpoints of the concept of dear in the same century are tried to be examined.This text in which beauty elements of the beloved are chosen and compared by reviewing the ghazels in the divans of Şeyhülislam Yahya Efendi ve Nef?i who were two eminent divan poets of 17th century is created as the result of a quiet meticulous study. As is known, in the love apprehension of divan literature, lover and beloved are the main two concepts. As those two complete each other, the concept of lover and beloved have the same importance. In this study, how those two poets mentioned before see the beloved and what kind of a beloved they see are investigated in a critical way. How the viewpoints of the poets, living in the same century, about the concept of beloved differ is tried to be shown in this thesis.
