Özet (EN)
Sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) is a gas commonly used in industry due to some of its physical and chemical properties, despite its global warming potential. Studies on the electron impact ionization of SF6 provide valuable information about the fundamental physical properties of the ionization process and the structure of the molecule, especially measuring the energy and angular distributions of particles released as a result of collisions. In this study, double and triple differential cross section measurements for electron impact ionization events on SF6 were conducted. The cross-sections of events resulting from collisions between SF6 molecules and electrons with initial energies ranging from 50 to 350 eV were measured as functions of energy and scattering angles with electron collision spectrometer. Results obtained in this study provide important insights into the molecular structure of SF6 and contribute to understanding the interactions of the molecule with charged particles.
