Abstract (EN)
In this study, the implications of artificial intelligence integration into cyber defense systems are examined. Nowadays, with the rapid expansion in digitalization, the complexity and effectiveness of cyber attacks have increased exponentially. In this context, there have been scenarios in which traditional cyber security mechanisms are not sufficient and artificial intelligence-based solution integration into cyber defense systems becomes a inevitable necessity. In the study, the application of artificial intelligence technologies in detection, analysis, classification and elimination of cyber threats is described and the advantages of these technologies to defense systems are revealed. In particular, it is examined how artificial intelligence methods such as machine learning, deep learning and natural language processing reshape anomaly detection, threat intelligence, automated response systems and attack prediction. While developing the research theoretical framework, the fields of application of artificial intelligence in cyber security and the literature available in this field were studied. The factors facilitating the performance of artificial intelligence in cyber defense and the difficulties of their integration are discussed. In the tests, it was observed that artificial intelligence-supported security systems are more secure than traditional methods because of their capabilities such as processing high volumes of data, detecting unknown threats, and reacting to attacks in real time. In the study, artificial intelligence-supported cyber security policies of different countries and institutions were comparatively examined and successful implementation examples were researched. In this context, it has been established that the use of artificial intelligence has come up with groundbreaking changes in cyber defense systems and that even more sophisticated attack and defense systems will be created in the future.
