Disclosure obligation of the insurer in insurance law

Since the insurance contracts are established based on the information declared by the parties and the existing situations, it is very important for the health of the contract to reach the right information. Regarding this issue, duty of disclosure is regulated Turkish Code of Commercial art. 1423, information duty have been regulated Regulation on Information in Insurance Contracts. However, including different concepts in different arrangements caused conceptual problems, as well as various complexities regarding the scope of the regulations. In the study, the place of the disclosure obligation in our legislation was expressed in company with sample decisions.
