Abstract (EN)
Silahdar Mehmet Pasha, one of the grand vizier of the era of Abdulhamit the First, was born in Arapsun, 1735. He came to Istanbul in his early ages and entered helvahane, which was the first work place of him. After various missions, he became grand vizier in 1779. Although Silahdar Mehmet Pasha's mission was short-lived, he succeeded in be permanent by building a social complex (külliye). In this study, foundations founded by him in Arapsun and organisation and workers of them in were told. In this study, works were examined on the basis of vakfiyes belong to foundations. It was made use of archival documents of The Ottoman Archives of the Prime Minister's Office, Archive of Prime Ministry General Directorate of Foundations, and studies related to this subject. The study consists of six chapters. In the introduction chapter history of the foundation, in first chapter foundation of Silahdar Mehmet Pasha, in the second chapter life and activities of Silahdar Mehmet Pasha, in the third chapter foundations of Silahdar Mehmet Pasha, in the fourth chapter officers of the his foundations were mentioned, in the five chapter transcription of the Silahdar Mehmet Pasha's foundaditon. Two copies were based when the foundations were studied. Translation of the one of the these copies was given in the addition, and differences of the other copy were specified in the footnotes. Foundations of Silahdar Mehmet Pasha were examined on the basis of these copies. By the other documents, implementations in these foundations were be tried to be understood.
