Abstract (EN)

Language, which is the smallest building block of interaction between people, is an agreement system that enables communication between people. From the past to the present, it is possible for people speaking different languages to communicate through translation. Over the years, translation has not lost its importance; on the contrary, the world, which is becoming more globalised day by day, has led to an increase in communication and interaction between societies. For this reason, correct translation strategies, translation methods and methods attract attention for foreign language teaching. This study shows us in detail the history of simultaneous interpreting, which is one of the interpreting methods that translates what a speaker says into another language at the same time, how it emerged, how it was used in the Nuremberg courts, and the problems experienced during the trial. The development process of this type of translation, the importance of which has been clearly understood with the Court, has been explained in Turkey, the reasons for the lack of development at the desired level have been discussed and suggestions have been made for its development. This study is a guidebook for students of translation and interpreting departments at universities. In the last part of the study, the use of the Arabic language is mentioned and in this context, the structural features of the Arabic language are analyzed.
