Abstract (EN)
Motion pictures and the other audiovisual works and its changing nature keep creating new juridical problems in Turkish law and in comparative law. Beside traditional motion pictures, films and programmes made for the television and multimedia works need to be define in the juridical sense. Nonetheless, this subject is specially important for Turkey, candidate for EU, in the period of juridical harmonisation. This thesis aims to give juridical definitions for motion pictures and others audiovisual works, to find solutions for the problems growing out of the ownership, to give explanations for financial and moral rights on this kind of works in the Turkish and comparative law.
