Abstract (EN)

Architecture continues to develop with changing times and developing technology, expands its field of influence in contact with other disciplines and enriches its production. The purpose of architecture is to produce space, this production goes through designing the reality of space. Design; it is a part of expression, sign, representation, a reflection of the inner world of the individual. In this context, the awareness of seeing gains value. In a way, seeing is a prerequisite for reflecting what is thought. In this study, space production is accepted as a combination of design and representation. In this context, the study sets out from a quest that focuses on the reflections of space production forms in architecture on design and representation. Scope of work; as a reinterpretation tool, the concept/method of anamorphosis is discussed. Anamorphosis is a form of representation and vision, and has been used in various meanings and expressions in art and science. Anamorphosis; with its various sub-concepts, provides an effective and different perspective on analysis, interpretation and production. Working in this context, the thesis reveals the sub-concepts of anamorphosis, based on the idea that there are multiple ways of seeing that are reduced to a special way of seeing. With these concepts, a spatial analysis has been made over the fictional spaces of the cinema. In line with this analysis, the sub-concepts of anamorphosis questioning reality in order to reinterpret and produce meaning; "deficiency", "reflection-illusion", "perspective", "deformation", "excessiveness", "certainty-uncertainty" and "deviation" has been identified. Anamorphic sub-concepts have been discussed through the film; "The Platform (Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia, 2019, Spain)" and it has been revealed that anamorphic concepts are used in the production of the film spaces.
