A systematical and faunistical investigation on spiders (Araneae) of Sinop province and its vicinity

During the field studies between the years 2009 to 2015, 1805 adult spiders had been collected of Sinop province and its vicinity. As a result of the inpections, 32 families and 207 species of spiders have been detected. Location, climate and flora of the invested enviroment and also the metodology of collection of the spiders has been explained. Identification keys for the determined taxon has been prepared, synonyms of each species has been given, determinations have been made, male and female genitalia has been photographed, habitats and distribution of each species around Turkey and around the world has been given. Theridula Emerton, 1882, Minicia Thorell, 1875, Trichoncus Simon, 1884 ve Tuberta Simon, 1884 genus with Asagena meridionalis Kulczyński, 1894, Theridion boesenbergi Strand, 1904, Theridula gonygaster (Simon, 1873), Minicia marginella (Wider, 1834), Trichoncus hackmani Millidge, 1955, Tuberta maerens (O. P.-Cambridge, 1863), Haplodrassus minor (O. P.-Cambridge, 1879) species of spiders are determined for the first time for Turkey.
