A language observation about settlement names of Sinop province

In this study, a categorizing is done about Sinop's location names according to their structures and meanings. This study includes Introduction I, II, Conclusion, Dictionary and Bibliography parts. In introduction part after stating about the subject, aim and the limits of the thesis, a short information is given about Sinop's geography and history. At the part I, location names are studied in the light of syntax. At the part II location names are categorized according to their meanings. Our aim in the study of 'A Language Observation About Settlement Names Of Sinop Province' is that to make contribution to developing area of location names in Turkey and to determine the borders of Sinop's village, district, and street names in the light of their structures and meanings.
