In this study, the software namely Computer Aided Order Control CAOC has beendeveloped by using Delphi 7 programming language for computing order delivery time. Thesoftware consists of orders, stock control, and capacity and production plan modules. Finally,the relations between them have been established by submodules.The application of CAOC has been implemented in a factory which produces blanketsin a district in Simav, Kütahya. Firstly, the production layout has been observed. Then thefactory information needed for CAPP has been entered to the program to benefit from theproduction layout.CAOC has been designed for continuous orders. The ordering module works if there isan order. When an order is entered to the program, the stock module works and checks if theorder is available in the stock. If the product is available in the store, the required amount isreserved for this item. If the product is insufficient in the store, the software calculates howmuch of the order could be produced and also analyzes by ?Capacity Analyze Module? whetherthe product could be produced with available capacity. This program also detects the labor,power waiting time and the capacity of machines entered to the system by the user and analyzesand calculates whether the product can be produced on time by using Critical Path Method(CPM). The program analyzes all of the ordered items and reports final time as day, week,month or year for the user. After those processes mentioned above, production plan is made foreach of the ordered items on the base of the selected time. Finally, the detailed material list,capacities of departments, order state can be followed for the ordered product if it is required.Keywords: Computing Delivery Time, Production planning, Capacity planning, Stock control, Computeraided production planning.
