Abstract (EN)
Throughout history, music wisdom has been occured as the working field of the artists in terms of aesthetics, field of the philosophers in terms of thought and field of the mathematician's in terms of theoretically. This situation resulted in the fact that many scholars in the İslâmic world included music in their works. The works of the Ancient Greek period, which date back to the 6th century BC, related to the theory of music, were acquired through translation activities into the medieval Islamic world. The written sources of scientists such as Pythagoras, Aristotle, Plato, Ptolemy, Aristoxenus and Euclid translated into Arabic and Persian influenced the scholars of the İslâmic world and shaped the theory of music in the works they wrote. In the historical sources of Islamic thought, there are some narrow scope or detailed information in the context of the field of interest of the authors in the works containing music. Some of these works differ from others. These sources of music, which are prominent and called 'adwar', appear as the main sources of music, not superficially, but in order to convey the tradition of practicing in a systematic and detailed manner on paper. Adwars can be classified in two different ways as 'original' and 'transported' when they are examined chronologically. In this study, the foundations of music are tried to be interpreted by us and in terms of system and method through adwars and it's authors who were found to be original between 9 and 16 centuries. In addition, evaluations were made in the context of problems regarding the overlapping or clashing of adwars.
