Abstract (EN)

Civil disobedience, which shows "wrong" points of law or arbitrary and oppressive polity; desires change; is a conscientious, legitimate and non-violent and at the same time illegitimate act, constitutes one of the used methods of resistance. The fact that it is open to the general public and as far away from violence as possible, distinguishes civil disobedience from other forms of resistance. This form of resistance whose past bases on the old has manifested itself in different ways in geography, civil commotion or political group. In addition, the used tools play effective role themselves in this form of resistance. One of these tools emerged as a social media. This shortly expressed concept, social media is a media system that provides to reach bilateral and simultaneous information sharing from one-way information sharing. Being recognised "inequity" which exists under favour of provided features, and improving this situation can be actualized by connecting or providing to connect to more people faster and easier via social media. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the civil disobedience and social media which is used as a tool and to present relevant examples. In this content, firstly, the right of resistance against the pressure was discussed, and civil disobedience and social media concepts were examined. In the later part of the study, the relationship between these two concepts and examples were tried to be explained. In the conclusion part of the study, the brief evaluation of explained parts was carried out
