Abstract (EN)

Political actors who have a significant impact on public opinion in decision-making processes or in the face of any event to which society reacts are defined as persons or groups who have achieved a certain political power and authority within the political mechanism. In addition to addressing different layers, these actors can also be representatives of a different identity. Political actors, who are more active especially in periods of political mobility, operate in spreading political interaction throughout society by using different media in accordance with their responsibilities. Within the political system, the president, the government, political parties, politicians, policy-makers, judge, while actors within the state of bureaucrats and technocrats are considered as trade unions, NGOs, and other organisations such as the media, pressure groups and non-state actors is defined as. One of the areas where political actors, who have an important place in shaping the political behavior of voters, have been active has been the Republican Rallies that started in Ankara on April 14, 2007 and continued in Istanbul, Manisa, Çanakkale, Izmir and Samsun. The subject of the study is political actors and Republican Rallies. Qualitative research method was applied in the study. The study aims to examine the Republican Rallies through the discourses and statements of political actors. The first part of the study contains an Introduction, and the second part contains a Conceptual and Theoretical Framework. In this section, politics and political actors are explained in detail. In the third section, the Republican Rallies are described chronologically in the light of the political developments before and after. The Evaluation of Republican Rallies through the Discourses of Political Actors formed the fourth part of the study, and in this section, the approaches of political actors to Republican Rallies were examined in detail. In addition, the political atmosphere of the period was evaluated through the discourses of political actors. Identity and society in the last section about different approaches that appeal to different layers of the Republic of mitingleri political actors and discourse of "us and them" distinction to be made between the cause of the opposition is due to the ideological struggle in the social sphere, and in the face of the crisis of the ideological hegemony of the rally that was edited, it was inferred, which is shown with a reflex.
