Özet (EN)
Clothing has emerged as a mean of protection for people and in the course of time it served to different scopes. People take many factors into consideration when they choose clothing. The main factors which they generally consider are the suitability and the aspects of the clothing designs. The preparation of the clothing designs is usually based on the size of people who have standard body measurements. However, such designs do not fit to every person as the human body is multidimensional and has various shapes. Above all, the patterns of these clothes have lots of negative aspects on people with posture problems. Having such problems, people tend to make some modifications on their clothes and sometimes to buy clothes which they do not like at all. For this reason, it is really necessary to create an up-to-date and modern perspective to clothing designs. In this study, the difficulties encountered in the clothes by patients with scoliosis are discussed. In the light of the answers of ten sample groups who participated to the interview, it is aimed to bring an ergonomic and a new perspective to the clothes they use in daily life. A new modular clothing collection is developed to contribute to sustainability thanks to the data collected in the study. Keywords: Clothing, Posture, Scoliosis, Modular, Ergonomics, Sustainability
