Abstract (EN)
This study aims to examine the views of classroom teachers working in multigrade classes in Şanlıurfa on the problems they encounter in teaching physical education and play. The research was conducted using a qualitative case study design. The study group consists of 15 classroom teachers selected through criterion sampling, a purposeful sampling method. Data were collected using a semi-structured interview form comprising 9 open-ended questions. The collected data were analyzed using content analysis. The findings indicate that teachers face various challenges in implementing the course, including time management, student diversity, lack of materials, insufficient physical spaces, and curriculum-related issues. Teachers also offered suggestions for overcoming these difficulties. The results provide significant insights for the planning, execution, and improvement of physical education and play lessons in multigrade classrooms.
