Özet (EN)
The main purpose of this study is to reveal the opinions and evaluations of classroom teachers regarding the distance education implemented at all levels due to the Covid 19 outbreak and the face-to-face education processes gradually transitioned after the outbreak. In this study, in which qualitative research method was used, the study group consisted of 17 classroom teachers working in Sarıkaya district of Yozgat province. A semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher was used as a data collection tool and content analysis technique was used to analyze the data. As a result of the research, it was seen that both teachers and students were unprepared for the urgent distance education process in many aspects. The participants stated that they cooperated with parents in order for students to actively participate in the lessons, that distance education was useful in terms of continuity of education, and that it contributed a lot to them professionally. In this process, they stated that they learned new internet-based applications and even continued to use them in face-to-face education, and that the biggest problem they experienced in the process was the inability to reach every student due to the insufficient technological infrastructure and the disruption of the lessons as a result of internet breaks. It was stated by the participants that the home environment of both teachers and students was not ready for education in terms of equipment since the emergency distance education system was switched to the distance education system and that measures were taken in this regard first, and that after switching to face-to-face education, especially 2nd grade students had literacy problems, and that they would prefer face-to-face education if they were given a choice.
