Abstract (EN)

Digitalization of services along with developing technology is an important transformation process that service providers and users have been going through in recent years. Increasing data, device diversity and service demands have increased the need for new and advanced routing methods instead of traditional network routing methods. Because of cloud technologies and programmable structures, the manageability of the traditional structure has become difficult and it has become difficult to integrate with new technologies. It is no longer sufficient because more reliability, agility, and performance are expected from WAN connections provided by Internet service providers. The fact that Software Defined Networks can work together with programmable virtualization or cloud-based services and have low cost has made it possible to manage the data traffic of the digital world more efficiently and at low cost. In this study, there are comparisons on the working structure of SD-WAN technology, its effects compared to traditional architecture, advantages over a local area networks or internet service providers, and the opportunities it will create for future.
