After cold war historical development of Turkey at a glance Russia relations

The subject of this study is the post-Cold War Turkish-Russian relations and the analysis of these relations in the historical process. First of all, the fact that these two states were neighbor also affected their political history. As a matter of fact, these two states, which at times came face to face with continous struggles, sometimes have signed an unprecedented friendship. At the same time, it is shaped parallel to the political relations between the two states in economic and cultural relations. Turks and Russians in the historical process as the successor of the two great states to continue on the stage of history, shows that they have a long history of their relationship. For all that, their participation in the Eurasian geography also caused the fusion of two peoples. As a matter of fact, the USSR had dominated the Turkish Republics in Central Asia, and after the collapse of the USSR, these republics gained their independence. Independent Turkic Republics, while the common history with Turkey; The fact that they had a common state with Russia caused cultural interaction. These interactions continue today both politically and economically.
