Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was aimed to determine the level of liking of children and their attitudes towards children rights of senior nursing students. Data were collected using Barnett's Liking of Children Scale, Children Rights Attitude Scale and student introduction for prepared by the researcher. The sample of the study consists of senior students of Kırıkkale and Bozok University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Nursing Department. Descriptive statistics and parametric tests were used to evaluate the data. In this study conducted with 153 students, 79.08% of the students participating in the research were female and 20.91% were male. It was concluded that 43.79% (n=86) of the students wanted to work aspediatric nurse. It is seen that the average score of the students on the Children Liking Scale is 78.62±16.03, and the average score on the attitude towards Children Rights Scale is 28.27±7.65. In line with the findings, it has been suggested that nursing students who will work with children in their professional life should be equipped with sufficient knowledge and skills on children rights in order to provide healthy and effective care.
