A floristic research on sorgun göleti nature park and its environs (Güdül-Ankara)

In this research, the Spermatophyte flora of Sorgun Göleti Nature Park (GüdülAnkara) and its environs has been researched. From June 2020 to July 2022, a total of 12 daily field studies were carried out in the research area. Plant specimens collected from field studies have been identified. As a result of the research, 281 species and infraspecific taxa were recorded, including 272 species, 99 subspecies, 33 varieties and 1 form belonging to 43 families and 169 genera. Of the 281 recorded taxa, 3 were gymnosperm and 278 were angiosperm. The 3 families with the highest number of taxa were: Asteraceae with 39 taxa, Poaceae with 37 taxa and Fabaceae with 36 taxa. The 4 genera with the highest number of taxa were: Trifolium with 11 taxa, Bromus with 7 taxa, Ranunculus and Veronica with 6 taxa each. 30 endemic taxa were endemic to Turkey among the plant taxa recorded from the research area. Threat categories 31 taxa were determined according to Red Data Book of Turkish Plants. It has been recorded that 5 of these taxa were in the "VU" category, and 26 taxa were in the "LC" category. When the phytogeographic regions of the taxa were examined, it was determined that 42 of them were Euro-Siberian, 31 of them were Iran-Turanian and 16 of them were Mediterranean phytogeographical region members. Results of the study were compared floristically with 28 different flora studies carried out in Ankara and a similarity dendrogram was created.
