Abstract (EN)
Creative drama meansthatstudents can freely produce their own games and display this product they produce. In the process of creative drama, it is mentioned that students create their own texts and use their imagination in this sense. The purpose of this research; to examine the effects of creative drama practices on imagination in socialstudies. Within the scope of social studies course, it is preferred to use the action research method in this applied study related to the eylem Power, Management and Society alan learning area realized with the 6th Grade. The study group consisted of 6th grade students from a private secondary school in Üsküdar, İstanbul. Pre-evaluation - final evaluation, observation, self-evaluation, rubric, daily, line-up data collection tools used for research; courseactivity plan was prepared. As a result of thelessonactivity plan, it was seen that the students used their imagination in the course which was transferred by the creative drama method and they realized the learning.
