Identification of the level of enterprising, knowledge and ability of the students studying prmary school teaching and social studies teaching at faculty of education

Through this study, it is aimed to determinate the entrepreneurship knowledge and skill level of teacher candidates who have been studying primary school teaching and social studies teaching in the faculties of education. Accordingly, the quantitative research methods have been used within the study. The survey model has been applied as the study model. Population consists of university students in the first and fourth class that study at universities Marmara University, Gazi University University and Adnan Menderes University. The sample of the study has been constituted by taking a group from among first-class and fourth-class students studying in daytime education of these universities. Two questionnaires which measure the knowledge and skill level have been used during the study. The research data obtained from 513 people and looking to data obtained from the knowledge and skill level of entrepreneurship there is not a significant relationship between emerged. The study also related first and fourth grade students are studying in universities entrepreneurship in terms of knowledge and skill levels statistically significant differences were not found. Still, the Primary School and Social Studies teacher candidates affect the level of knowledge and skills of entrepreneurship, some thought to be given to the lower statistical conclusions to problems in the area. As a result, it is figured out that the educational faculties of universities are not sufficient in training for entrepreneurship. In this context, it can be said that necessary studies should be done to develop the level of knowledge and skill as required in education faculties.
