Qur'an's view of begging as a social problem

Muslims in our Islamic civilization, Hz. The Prophet's (asv) "Giving hand is superior to the receiving hand." It is evident that anyone who accepts the principle of social life and leaves his hand empty. It is a fact that begging feeds on the feelings of compassion of the society because of the importance that Islam attaches to social assistance and solidarity, and its encouraging incentives in this regard, and that the begged people benefit from these feelings of compassion in almost every place. n this way, it is a fact that begging has become a social problem and this problem makes its existence more and more felt in our daily lives. The aim of this study is to reflect the Qur'an's view on the phenomenon of begging that we encounter almost everywhere in our daily lives, which is a social problem. Our study around this framework consists of three chapters and conclusion. In the first part, we talked about begging as a social problem, concepts that mean begging, and the history of begging in certain periods. In the second chapter, we discussed the reasons and results of begging in the context of Qur'anic verses based on sociological studies on the subject. In the third chapter, after reflecting the Qur'an's view of begging, we discussed the correction of the Qur'an's begging. In the conclusion part, we made a general evaluation covering all of the topics we have covered in our research.
