Attitudes of social workers towards the problems of individuals wi̇th physical disabilities

In this study, it has been aimed to investigate the attitudes of social workers towards the problems of physically disabled individuals. Within the scope of this study, it has been tried to reach social workers in the Ministry of Family Labor and Social Services, Ministry of Health, universities and other public institutions. In order to determine attitudes towards physically handicapped individuals, the scale, created by Atherton vd. (1993), was used by adapting for physically disabled individuals. The first part of the research was prepared as a literature study in the field of disability specially for disabled. In the second part of the research, the questionnaire applied to the social workers is used as the section where the attitudes towards the physically disabled are determined by using the data obtained by using the SPSS 16 program. After the presentation of the data, the study was finalized by making a general evaluation. Keywords: Social Worker, Physically disabled, Attitude
