Within the scope of social protection; Comparison of disability, old age and death insurances in Türkiye and Australia

In this study, the legislation and data on old age, disability and death insurance branches between Turkey and Australia within the scope of social protection are analyzed from a comparative perspective. Our study consists of four chapters that follow each other in logical subject integrity consists of. The first part consists of an introduction and a broad summary of our study. The reasons for the emergence of social protection and social security are listed and it is mentioned why it is necessary to examine the social security system in the Australian state. In the second part, the concepts of social protection and social security are defined and their historical processes are mentioned. Information on social security instruments, premium and non-contributory social security systems and private insurance is given. In the third chapter, the geographical location, population, historical, political and social structure of the Australian State is analyzed. The data expected to affect social security in the Australian State are examined and the details of the social security system applied are included. In addition, the conditions for disability, old age and death pensions are stated. The data expected to affect social security in our country are examined; the applications of disability, old age and death insurance branches are detailed. Disability, old-age and survivors insurance branches between our country and the Australian State have been examined in a framework suitable for comparison, and the comparison between Turkey and Australia has been carried out by trying to determine the level of effectiveness both in terms of legislative evaluation and statistical data. The fourth and final section consists of conclusions and recommendations.
