Abstract (EN)

In today's society, individuals have to work to earn a living and a significant part of their lives is dedicated to work. Therefore, it is of great importance for companies to ensure that the time employees spend in the workplace is used effectively and efficiently. It is insufficient for employers to simply offer their employees jobs for productivity. It is necessary to implement practices that will establish a bond between employees and the organization, prevent them from considering alternative job opportunities and ensure the continuity of the organization. However, in addition to these, employees also prefer organizations that prioritize the welfare and health of the society and show sensitivity to social issues. Such organizations are considered socially responsible and actively participate in improving the welfare of society. As an important stakeholder of the organization, employees value organizations that contribute to the betterment of society. The concept of corporate social responsibility has become a very important element for the creation and maintenance of organizational commitment, which is an important factor in the decision to stay in the organization. This study concludes that corporate social responsibility has an impact on employee engagement. In order to increase employee engagement, corporate social responsibility index criteria; respect for the right to union and collective bargaining, prevention of forced labor, prevention of child labor, prevention of discrimination, safe and healthy working conditions, payment of fair wages, participation in management, support for training and development, freedom of expression, work-family life balance should be taken into consideration.
