Abstract (EN)
Until the 1960?s term ?capital? has qualified the physical values as machine and equipment, it has been needed to be redefined with the introduction of social capital to the economics literature together with the human capital. Today, the capital, which is assessed in terms of its physical dimension in classical economics discipline, is characterized with the economics values both with or without material assets having positive contribution to the production. In this context, the economic development is started to be designated under the interaction of human development, relationship, living standarts, and under the social and human all dynamic factors, forming the corporate frame in which the human being live as well as the physical capital.Together with the developing notion of capital, the development policies were also started to be changed and as a result of the difficulty in the application of these policies in developing countries, the role of central authority and the public body under this authority, on the strentghening of capital types was arosen. The aim of this study is to evaluate the General Directorate of Pious Foundations in terms of the physical, human and social investments and to indicate the effects of its services.
