Equal opuurtunity in education from socioeconomic perspective: The case of Giresun

Educational system in Turkey changed in various ways lass 15 years(1998-2013). It has been started to argue that education which has given in the public schools is not sufficient to gain succecc in general exams. This situation directed both students and parent for search another educational institution. Some of the students started to spend some money for educational institutions other than public schools to gain success in general exams. This fact cracked down the equal opuurtunıty between students. In this study the aim is to investigate equal opuurtunity status in Giresun,Turkey.
