Abstract (EN)

Throughout history, religions and belief systems have been the basic building blocks of society and its subunits. Because it is a set of beliefs, values and norms. These values and norms are the starting points of culture that determine the structure of society. When viewed from this general framework, the Religion of Islam and belief systems such as sects and sects formed within this religion also have basic values and norms. In our study, the basic building blocks of the Alevism faith, which has its own belief system, its own philosophy and its own culture, which takes its basic history from the Islamic History and is also influenced by the pre-Islamic culture, are discussed from a sociological perspective. In our study, especially what the religious rituals in the Alevism belief are, the important figures in its history and why they are important, were studied with sociological methods. Later, in this study, the Belief and Worship Dimension of Alevism was discussed within the framework of "Structural Functionalist Theory", one of the basic theories of sociology.
