Discourse theory and discourse analaysis on political texts of 16th century

First of all, we discribed the term of discourse in this study. Then we explained the discourse theory as point of views of scholars, philosophers and lingusits who work different areas on the social sciences and humanities. While we are explaning this we tried to demonstrate what is the nature of discourse and how it works concrete structure in surface or abstract structure in deep. Thirdly we gave presentation that what is discourse analysis from aproaches of multi-disciplinary Studies. Afterwards we clarified varieties and methods of discourse analysis. Finally we examined micro and macro structures on political texts of 16th Century Ottoman Turkish Language. Content of this research includes three political texts which were writen in 1512, 1539, 1540 years, different from each others in style. Aproaches of text linguistic and sistemic functional linguistic are the methods of the foreground in this research. After this we tried to observe that how are unites of micro structure (cohesions) ordering links of reference of discourse in these political texts. And also we analysed that what are units of macro structures (coherences) and how these units work providing semantic and logical links of discourse in these political texts.
