Abstract (EN)
In the report titled "Plastic Analysis over the Spoken Concept", examples of how what is said exist in societies are included. As a title, "Current Discourse", in the first part, the consciousness of creating current myths is emphasized and according to Levi-Strauss's myth analysis, new myths can be created by linking and recoding myths in many ways. In the following chapters, the concept of "personal mythology" brought by Harald Szemann to the history of art with a general historical perspective is explained in another title, personal mythological narratives in contemporary art, and artist works that can set an example are included. In this context, by adding the works I have produced on the basis of the perspective of personal mythologies, it has been tried to convey the intellectual connections in the background of my art production. In the second part of the thesis, the mythological origin of the female image has been examined, based on mythological sources. In the transition to patriarchy, the status of women fell and the image of the dominant woman evolved into Virgin Mary with the influence of religions, and in particular, the woman turned into an absolute body and a sexual commodity. In the last title of the study, "Women's Myths in the Context of Uncertainty in Contemporary Art", it is aimed to make a discourse reading over the artist's works that can be associated with the concept of uncanny in the context of gender. By researching associative art productions in the context of the current discourse issue, approaches to this subject have been tried to be supported with examples. Finally, in the context of beauty rumor, a path has been followed by including the works I have produced in the line of today's beauty discourse in the application studies section.
