Vocabulary of the work called Söz Derleme Dergisi "Folklor Sözleri"

The six-volume "Derleme Sözlüğü," one of the most significant dialect dictionaries of the Turkish language, includes the work "Folklor Sözleri," which was the sixth volume of the Söz Derleme Dergisi. "Folklor Sözleri" holds great importance both from the perspective of linguistics and folklore studies. Hence, it is essential for use in dialect studies. The "Derleme Sözlüğü," the comprehensive dictionary of Turkish dialects, has been significantly informed by "Folklor Sözleri." However, crucial data was not fully utilized. This study aims to bring these data to light and contribute to the "Derleme Sözlüğü. "The first part of this study, titled "The Comparison of 'Folklor Sözleri' and 'Derleme Sözlüğü'," compares these two works. The second part details the lexicon of "Folklor Sözleri" with the aim of providing an in-depth exploration. Words present in "Folklor Sözleri" were compared and analyzed to understand their presence in the "Derleme Sözlüğü." Additionally, variations, definitions, and new deficiencies and distinctions of words found in "Derleme Sözlüğü" were identified. The last part of the study consists of "findings".
