Concept of desire in Spinoza and Hegel philosophy

The purpose of this thesis is to determine the position of the concept of desire in the philosophy of Spinoza and Hegel and especially to reveal the role of this concept in the establishment of subjectivity and sociality. For this purpose, the main works to be dealt with will be Ethica and the Phenomenology of Spirit. The reason why these works are based on is that they are the works that stand on the basis of the systems of both philosophers. In this direction, the content determined by the philosophers of both works will be followed accordingly, and other works of philosophers will be used to make the subject comprehensive at necessary points. As a result of the thesis, it will be become visible that the understanding of subjectivity and sociality of both philosophers is based on the concept of desire.
