Evaluation of sports relevance and sports ethics in terms ofIslamic understanding

The aim of the study is to evaluate the firsts of sports ethics and sports ethics in terms of Islamic understanding. The concepts of ethics, morality and immorality in the field of sports have been tried to be examined by approaching them from the perspective of Islamic understanding. The relationship of sports with the individual, society, social life, economy and education has been examined and it has been tried to reach the definitions of ethical and moral approaches related to these fields. The relationship of these definitions with the concepts of morality and ethics in the understanding of Islam has been tried to be revealed. In this study, literature review data collection technique was used. Scientific articles, researches, books, magazines and websites related to the subject were examined in detail, firstly the general definition of sports was mentioned, then ethical and moral definitions related to all sports-related fields were evaluated, and finally, a relational evaluation was made in the light of reliable sources in terms of Islamic understanding. As a result of the analyzes made, it has been understood that sports provide positive contributions to the individual in terms of personality, health and pedagogy and this situation has a common importance in terms of Islamic understanding. It has been understood that the integrative and regulative power of sports in social and social terms is also seen as important in terms of Islamic understanding. It has been understood that the moral and ethical principles expected to be practiced in the field of sports are compatible with the moral and ethical principles inculcated in the understanding of Islam. In this respect, it has been understood that it is more likely to do sports on an ethical and moral ground, where desired behaviors are formed, by researching and examining the researched subject closely with all disciplines and in a wider range.
