The investigation of social support perceptions' the way of coping with stress affection on the participants who took special talent exam on sport

The aim of the study is to investigate of social support perceptions' the way of coping with stress affection on the participants who took special talent exam on sport. The researching group of this study consists of the participants who took BESYO special talent exam which held in Adnan Menderes University during 2016 – 2017 education period. 542 volunteer participants are provided in to this investigation. The way of collecting data of this research consists of Multidimensional Social Supporting Scale, The Ways of Coping with Stress Scale, and Personal Information Form which prepared by researcher. During analysing of the datas, taken advantage from t test, variance analysis, corelation analysis, and multi regression analysis. The statistical findings of the research are obtained by SPSS 23TM package programme. At the result of the research, statistical significant difference have found on perceived social support and coping with stress in terms of sex and age. But, the branch of sport and having a licence status have no significant difference on so-called situations. At the result of the analysis, social support perception's affection on coping with stress, self-confidental and optimistic approach, and seeking social support approaches affected positively of social support which perceived from friend, but it affected submissive approach negatively on the determination of the styles of coping with stress affection. The perceived social support from the family affected submissive approach and seeking social support positively, and the perceived social support from private person affected positively on optimistic approach.
