Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between multifaceted leadership orientations, recreational leadership behaviors, and leisure time management among students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Bayburt University. To this end, a correlational survey model was used in the study, with a sample group consisting of 385 (n) participants from the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Bayburt University. Four separate forms were used to obtain the participants' opinions on the subject: Personal Information Form, Multifaceted Leadership Orientation Scale, Recreational Leadership Behavior Scale, and Leisure Time Management Scale. All raw data obtained were tested using SPSS (version 26) software. Descriptive analyses were performed first in the data analysis process, and it was determined that the data were suitable for use with parametric tests. In this context, t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), and Pearson correlation analysis were used. As a result of the tests conducted using these tests, statistically significant findings were found regarding the participants' multifaceted leadership orientation in relation to gender, age, and weekly leisure time variables. Regarding recreational leadership behavior, statistically significant findings were found depending on weekly leisure time and age variables. Statistically significant findings were also found regarding the gender and grade level sub-dimensions of leisure time management. Finally, it was concluded that there are relationships with varying levels and directions between the subdimensions of multifaceted leadership orientation, recreational leadership behavior, and leisure time management.
