Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is to investigate of the relations between the organizational commitment, job performance, and emotions of staff working in sports federations. The research is carried out using the correlational survey model. The universe of the research consists of staff working in sports federations. The sample consists of 313 working staff selected by convenience sampling method from this universe. The data of the research were collected by using "Personal Information Form, Organizational Commitment Scale, Job Performance Scale and Positive and Negative Emotion Scale". Descriptive statistics, independent groups t-test, one-way MANOVA, Pearson correlation and Regression analyzes were used in the analysis of the data. Considering the findings of the study, in the mean scores of organizational commitment; It has been determined that there is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of continuance commitment according to gender, normative commitment according to education level, emotional and normative commitment according to welfare status, and emotional and normative commitment according to income status. It was determined that there was no statistically significant difference in job performance mean scores according to demographic variables. Considering the emotional state average scores; It has been determined that there is a statistically significant difference between the average scores according to the perceived welfare status and income status. When the results of the relationship between the variables are examined; Positively significant relationships were found between positive emotional states, emotional commitment and normative commitment; Negatively significant relationships were found between negative emotional states, emotional commitment and normative commitment. Considering the relationship between emotional states and job performances; Positively significant relationships were found between positive emotional states and job performance; Negatively significant relationships were found between negative emotional states and job performance. Finally, when the relationship between organizational commitment and job performance is examined; There were positive and significant relationships between job performance and emotional commitment, continuance commitment and normative commitment. In addition, it was determined that emotional states predicted organizational commitment and job performance, and organizational commitment significantly predicted job performance. As a result; It may be possible to say that when the staff working in sports federations have positive emotions, their organizational commitment and job performance will increase, and when their organizational commitment increases, their job performance will also increase.
