Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to reveal the effect of emotional intelligence and sensitive love levels of sports club employees on their mobbing perceptions. In the research, descriptive and relational survey model, which is one of the quantitative research methods, was used. The study group of the research consists of 184 employees working in sports clubs in Izmir province, who were determined using the purposive sampling method and who voluntarily agreed to participate in the research. Data collection tools, personal information form was used to learn the personal information of the participants, "Negative Behaviours Scale" developed by Einarsen and Raknes (1997) and adapted into Turkish by Cemaloğlu (2007) to measure the mobbing perception of the participants, "Emotional Intelligence Scale" developed by Schutte et al. (1998) and adapted into Turkish by Şahin (2006) to determine the emotional intelligence levels of the participants, and "Responsive Love Scale" developed by Sprecher and Fehr (2005) and adapted into Turkish by Akın and Eker (2012). In the data collection technique of the research, questionnaire method was used. The data obtained from the research were analysed using statistical software. A significant difference was found in the emotional intelligence scale according to the educational status variable of the sports club employees (p<0.05). A low level negative effect was found between the mobbing scale score and the total score of the emotional intelligence scale (r=-,161). As a result, it is possible to say that as the emotional intelligence levels of sports club employees increase, their mobbing perceptions will decrease. In order to understand the concepts of mobbing, emotional intelligence and sensitive love in sports clubs, it is recommended to inform employees about this issue. Keywords: Mobbing, Emotional intelligence, Compassionate Love
