Abstract (EN)

In this study, the main aim is researching same basic physical , physiological and physico-motor properties of primary-school children aged 11-12 who are engaged in sports and not. In "zmir, 131 randomly-chosen sports-students aged 11-12 took part in these research as subjects of experiment. The students who engage in sports were named as sports-groups according to their brunchas (athletism, basketball, gymnastics and handball) and the students who never engage in sports were accepted as the non-sports group. The physical, physiological and physicomotor properties of all groups were determinet by the help of measures. Ms Excel Pactage Programme was uset in the arrangement of data and construction of graphics SPSS statistic package programme was used in the arrangement of tables and statistic analysis. The one-way Anova test on the level of - = 0,05 importance and the Tokey HSD test as the second level test were applied in order to research whether there are differences between the students who engage in sports and not from the point of view of phsical, phsicological and physico-motor properties of them. The results show that there are important differences among the students who engage in sports (athletism, basketball,handball,gymnastics) and between the students who play sports and not from the point of view of physical (p<0.05) width (p<0.05) , periphery (p<0.05) and fat measures (p<0.05) It is thougt that there is an effect of sportyype on the differences established among the students from the point of view of physical and physico-motor properties, length, wiedth, physical and fat measures and it is considered that engaging in sports effects the development of children.
