Abstract (EN)
This study aims to develop a scale to evaluate change in sports management. The study also shows the levels of change in sports management with some demographic information. General survey model for quantitative research was used in the study. Population of the study consists of university students attending higher education institutions that provide sports education in Turkey. Sample of the study consists of four different groups (pilot study N= 119, EFA N= 860, CFA N= 382, research item findings N= 461). Relevant literature was reviewed to create the items of the scale. Expert opinion was taken for the items of the scale and the items were revised according to feedback. Following this, pilot study was conducted. The scale was made ready for application as a result of the pilot study and after receiving expert opinions again. Next, exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were conducted for construct validity. KMO (0,936) test was used to determine the suitability of sample size and Bartlett sphericity test was used to determine whether the data showed multivariate normal distribution. A structure with 28 items and 5 factors (technological, structural, organizational, economic, global) was found according to exploratory factor analysis results. The value of total variance explained was calculated as 51.25%. In the results of confirmatory factor analysis, fit values were found as X2/df: 2,21, GFI: 0,910, CFI 0,916, NFI ,859, RFI ,867 and PGFI 0,734. It was also concluded that AVE and CR values were acceptable for convergent validity. When Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficients were examined, they were found as 0,87 for technological factor, as 0,82 for structural factor, as 0,77 for organizational factor, as 0,75 for economic factor, as 0,75 for global factor and as 0,92 for change in sports management scale. SPSS 21.V. statistical package program and AMOS 24 were used in statistical analyses of the study. As a result, it was found that "Change in Sports Management Scale" has a structure that can be used.
