Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out on 190 athletes in different sports branches to determine the level of technology use and information sharing. The athletes participated in the study voluntarily. "Attitude towards Technology Scale" was used for technology use and "Yeo and Youssef Information Sharing Scale" was used to examine information sharing levels. Both scales were presented to the athletes. The data obtained were used to examine the technology use and information sharing levels of the athletes. IBM SPSS 22.00 Statistical Package Programme was used for statistical evaluations. In the data evaluation phase, t-test and One-Way ANOVA tests were used to determine whether there was a significant difference in the technology use and information sharing levels of the participants, and Pearson correlation test was applied to determine the relationship between technology use and information sharing levels. According to the test results; while there was no significant difference in technology use and information sharing levels according to the duration of the athletes' licensed sports (P>0,05), it was observed that there were significant differences in terms of technology use levels in the sub-dimensions of "Technology and Management", "Technology and Internet" and "Technology and Pessimism" according to gender variable (P<0,05). According to Pearson Correlation and regression analyses, a weakly negative (r=-0,161) and significant (P<0,05) relationship was found between technology use and information sharing levels.
