Abstract (EN)

The ever-evolving aerospace industry requires companies to consistently meet or exceed customer expectations, while adhering to applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG), together with representatives from the industry has developed AS9100-Series quality management system (QMS) standards to standardize QMS requirements to be used all along the supply chain. Although, often, apart from QMS, the organizations also required to comply civil aviation authority regulations (i.e. European Aviation Safety Agency EASA) which ensures aviation safety and environmental protection, thus enabling the production and sale of airworthy products, assemblies, or end air vehicles to customers. This study addresses the similarities and distinctions between AS9100 QMS and EASA Part 21 POA regulations and integrated implementation methodology thereof. Thus, it aims to offer cost and time-effective, fast, and sustainable approach for organizations seeking certification for both AS9100 QMS and EASA Part 21 POA.
