Abstract (EN)

In this study, the Stanislavski System, which is considered the basic structure of theater art, and Jacques Lecoq's Pedagogy, which is evaluated under the title of physical theater and has an important place in this field, were investigated. The propositions, approaches and working principles of the System and Pedagogy to the art of acting are discussed. The mistake often made when discussing different theater genres is to see these genres as disconnected and opposite from each other and to make definitive judgments such as "if there is one, the other should not be present" in acting works. At the end of this study, we see that the theater concepts evaluated under two different headings actually nourish each other and make the actor versatile. The study is divided into 3 parts. First, the historical process that created the Stanislavski system was discussed and the stages of the system were explained. Then, the historical process of Jacques Lecoq's pedagogy and the tools of pedagogy are explained. Finally, the similarities and differences in the approaches of System and pedagogy to the art of acting were evaluated.. Key Words: Stanislavski, Stanislavski system, Jacques Lecoq, Lecoq Pedagogy, acting
