Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, the electrochemical properties of Nepafenac, which is in the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and used after surgical operations in eye diseases, were investigated. Voltammetry method, one of the electroanalytical methods, was used in the research. The pencil graphite electrode was activated by an electrochemical pretreatment. In (CV) cyclic voltmmety, a sensitive response of around +1.1 V was obtained in the support electrolyte environment of acetate (pH 4.8) on the pencil graphite electrode surface. By (SWV) square wave voltammetry, the detection limit in the concentration range of 0.3-3.5 µM was obsereved. The limit of detection and the limit of in acetate (pH=4.8) were calculated as 0.035 µM and 0.11µM respectively. With the help of this technique, the quantification study of the Nepafenac compound was applied to the drug form successfully.
