This study explores the evolving dynamics of strategic entrepreneurship through a mixed-method approach, focusing on diverse and diaspora entrepreneurs operating across diverse global contexts. The study aims to examine the strategic practices of these entrepreneurs by analyzing their personal stories and entrepreneurial journeys. It seeks to identify trends in their strategic behaviors, determine how their experiences align with existing research, and offer actionable advice for aspiring entrepreneurs. The quantitative phase draws on survey responses from 30 entrepreneurs, analyzing the impact of environmental hostility and organizational practices on strategic posture using moderated regression analysis. The qualitative phase comprises five in-depth interviews with diaspora entrepreneurs, uncovering rich narratives related to risk management, adaptive strategies, and experiential learning. Findings reveal that while environmental hostility negatively influences strategic posture, strong organizational practices can moderate this relashionship, which allowes entrepreneurs to remain agile and opportunity-focused. The qualitative insights highlight key themes such as resilience, emotional discipline, market entry strategies, and the role of operational and marketing strategies. This research concludes by providing advice for aspiring entrepreneurs, emphasizing the importance of experiential learning, long-term planning, and social awareness as critical elements of long-term success. The study further integrates the Resource-Based View (RBV) theory, strategic entrepreneurship, international entrepreneurship, diaspora entrepreneurship and strategic management literature, offering new perspectives on how internal capabilities and context-specific practices shape entrepreneurial success. This thesis contributes to the strategic entrepreneurship field by integrating empirical data with real-life narratives, offering practical recommendations for aspiring entrepreneurs and theoretical implications for future research.
