Abstract (EN)

Today, stress has become an integral part of our daily life. Stress, which we encounter in working life and affects our whole life, affects performance and burnout in various ways. The research is important in terms of examining the effects of stress experienced in the field of health on the burnout and performance of employees, considering the impact of the pandemic on healthcare workers today. In this study, after the explanation of stress, performance and burnout factors, information about the relationship between stress and performance and the relationship between stress and burnout is given. In the research part of the study, the effect of stress on burnout and performance was examined. A survey study was conducted on 377 participants, who were selected by the convenience sampling method and formed by people working in the health sector. The data collected for the research were analyzed by quantitative methods. As a result of the research, it was understood that stress had a significant and negative effect on performance and a significant and positive effect on burnout.
