Abstract (EN)
Arsenic removal efficiency of Lemna.minor L. (duckweed) was searched in this study. Arsenic trioxide (As2O3) in concentration of 100 ?g/L, 200 ?g/L and 300 ?g/L was applied to L. minor plants grown in appropriate laboratory conditions. Experimental studies were conducted over a period of twenty days in tanks of equal volume. At the end of the experiment, the volume of As203 remained in the water and accumulated in the plant were measured. As a result of measurements, it was found that arsenic concentrations in water 300 ?g/L, 200 ?g/L, 100 ?g/L were decreased 151,2 ?g/L; 105,5 ?g/L; 45,5 ?g/L, respectively. In conclusion, it was determined that the most effective arsenic removal efficiency was in the tanks contain 300 ?g/L. arsenic.Keywords: heavy metal, arsenic, Lemna minor, water pollution.
