Subutai's role in the foundation and expansion of the Mongol Empire

The Mongol Invasion, which began in the 13th century, had profound social, economic, and political effects on world history. It occurred when the scattered Mongol tribes of the steppes were unified by Genghis Khan, establishing the political unity of the Mongol nation.
