Abstract (EN)

Variations of substantial criminal law in Turkey within the framework of main principles of crime policy form the subject of this thesis. Within the scope of the aforementioned subject, the concept of crime policy has been primarily mentioned. Following this, main principles of crime policy, namely the principle of rule of law, the principle of fault and the principle of humanism have been put forward together with their consequences. In conclusion, the variations based on these principles have been discussed by comparing several criminal codes, particularly the abolished Turkish Criminal Code numbered 765 and Turkish Criminal Code numbered 5237.
